Zulfian Amrullah is a visual artist born in Mempawah (West Kalimantan) who currently lives and works in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He studied architecture at Universitas Gadjah Mada and possesses professional experience in landscape architecture. His artistic practice spans sculpture, installation, and spatial exploration. In recent years, his interests have evolved to focus on material circulation, furniture waste, and the ecological responsibilities inherent in everyday practices. Through experimentation with industrial materials such as metal and wood, he investigates the relationships between the body, industry, construction, myth, and the environment. His work has been exhibited at various venues and events, including ARTJOG, Art Jakarta Garden, and Salihara Art Centre. Beyond his visual art practice, he is also active in exhibition design, performance art direction, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
